I don't watch the news. I researched and found out everything I needed to a couple days ago though.

 

And I say no to lowering the flag.

So do I, we didn't do it any of the other wars, I consider it a bigger dishonor to the families of those who died and didn't have the flag lowered, if it were to stay the same as the liberals started...

Not lowering the flag for each individual death was fine when Canadian soldiers were fighting wars and many casualties were expected. Those days are over; Canadians have mostly become quite anti-war (Quebecois always were) and expect to be made aware of every single casualty, because one is too many. What Harper is saying by not lowering the flag for each dead soldier is that casualties are to be expected.

 

Canadian soliders have no business fighting wars. They have more important things to worry about.
