so are you basing this entire argument on the fact that we don't have filibusters? Are they really that important to you? Or or you just tossing in a random comment and providing no evididence to back up your claim?

Thats because there are none.

 

The filibuster is pretty rediculous anyway, and i'd say both the United States and Canada don't really have democracy's so to bitch and whine about a filibuster is kind of pointless. What should be bitched and whined about is that it takes an averg of 22 million to run a federal political campaign and much MUCH more in the United States, which creates access to any kind of power structures within both countries forever out of reach for average Canadians.

In fact, nowhere in our written constitution does it even mention the PM whatsoever, with the exception of a single amendment regarding his official residence.

 

Much like the British constitution, ours is largely an unwritten one, based on precident and custom.
