Is anybody else having trouble gettingnto the Calgary Bootleg downloads thread? It keeps saying I have to register but I'm already registered and logged in.... any ideas?

I'm having the same problem... not sure what the deal is.

For those who are asking about the Calgary Bootleg thread, it was moved. Those with 60+ posts (non-spam) are promoted to NF Fanatics and then gain access to that forum (where the thread was moved to).

 

Although, as I'm still under 60 posts that could be way off; but it was in the FAQ I read the other day about it as I was having the same problem.

 

those of you who bootlegged did you just openly set up shop? or did you have to be discreet?

At the venue in Edmonton I had a rail/ledge in front of me so that is where I rested my mics. I had my batter box and recording device below between my feet. So it was pretty discreet, but the mics were 'in the open'. Although when the lights went down you couldn't see anything.

 

It's not like I set up a 7' t-bar and openly recorded, it was stealthed; but without the stress of having others ruin your recording.

How much was that new T-shirt, and what other swag did they have on sale?

T-shirts were $30. Other "swag" included art prints ($15), the patch and button set ($5) from the last tour, and CD's as far as I could tell.

Actually, Johnny Cash covered the song Hurt from Nine Inch Nails, off of their 1994 album The Downward Spiral.

 

And if Matt played this, for the love of God, I hope someone bootlegged it. ;)
