Tour Delay/postponment? (merged)

I have three tickets, but only one of them belongs to me. The other in Pintowax's, and another is my roommates. I wouldn't be surprised if they all opened up after May 8th.

Nothing is cancelled so I'm assuming everything is just being postponed. If MG is sick then MG.org won't be updated.

I guess that's a really bad sign...hopefully he pulls out of it before the Toronto show ;)

I just called CUSA and the show is apparently still on, and its like 11:40am, hopefully he wont call this afternoon and cancel but as far as today is concerned they've heard nothing. Phew.. I think id go nuts if NIN cancelled on me and then Matt.

For those wanting tickets when i called CUSA they said they had a few left, you might want to try their, they might already be sold i dont know.

Not that it matters but...a fire truck?

Fire departments are often the first response to medical emergencies, given that they're often closer than the nearest hospital. (Firefighters usually have medical training.)

 

The nearest hospital is more than six miles from where I live, so we typically see fire trucks responding to medical emergencies in our neighborhood.

ambulances dont get dispatched from hospitals. the reason why fire trucks arrive first is because ambulance attendants are specialists and are under no circumstances to be used unless necessary. the dispatcher who sends the fire truck will usually guage the situation by whomever they are talking to at the scene, if that person doesnt give an indication that an ambulance is absolutely necessary, only the firetruck that arrives can ask for one.

I called the Starlight in Waterloo and I talked to the guy there and he said supposedly Matt is doing better and that the show for Saturday is as far as he knows "a go". He also mentioned that the reschedule for the April 3rd show should be confirmed sometime later today. One of the dates he said Matt was shooting for was Good Friday, April 14th. Thought I would pass that along.

I totally agree Shindig, I think it's ridiculous that Matt has not updated his site saying if he is or is not playing the site, and if Matt is too sick to update it, get someone else to update it to get the info out to the fans.

 

However, it looks like no one is coming back from tonight's show talking about how it was cancelled, so I guess everything is going smoothly.
