Alright, I'm going into second year university at U of T, and I need to decide my 'program of study' thingy. I know I want to do psych and english, and I like them both, so should I do a specialist program in psych and a minor in english, or a double major?

Well, unfortunately that's what I'm doing at the moment, because my frigging school won't give me acceptance to the specialist program because my first year marks weren't in the stratosphere. ;)

Question: Is the possibility of graduate school still open?

I would say go for the spec, simply because English is fairly useless unless you want to go into law or teaching, psychology is a good career these days, and etc.

Yeah, and the school I go to is one of the few in the province where Psych is a science and not an arts or something stupid like that.

I did the double major for now, but hopefully next year I can re apply for the specialist.
