So my girlfriend's sister is staying with us for 2 weeks til she finds her own place (she just started college)... and alot of the stuff she says revolves around the use of web acronyms, such as WTF, LOL, OMG, etc. Let me give you an example:

 

"... and then Sarah went out with Dave and I was like WTF"

 

Is this some kind of new trend among teenagers today? If so, what gives? It's freakin' annoying. Maybe this is just some isolated occurence...

i was readings the news paper today, and saw an article about some kids spray painting some monuments at a cemetery in hull... they spray painted "LOL" and "ROFL" on them. I use to make monuments, so i know how expensive they are to make, and how long it takes to make them, so i am pissed off about that, plus the fact that used "net-speak" pissed me off even more.
