death from above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine

that's kind of silly. it was their only full length...

i would have to say... soundgarden's superunknown. don't get me wrong, the other albums are really good, but this one blows me away.

there are more but i cant think of any right now.

Siamese Dream-Smashing Pumpkins.

It's just more consistant than Mellon Collie...

why does everyone always praise siamese dream? gish is clearly the only smashing pumpkins album worth rubbing all over your naked body. seriously.

American idiot is defintely not the best green day album... it's theft, thats all it is... jesus of suburbia = summer of 69, boulevard of broken dreams=writing to reach you=wonderwall... along with all of the other rip offs most of us are familiar with..... i think green day's best is nimrod.

anyway, to add.. The Beach Boys- pet sounds

Blind Guardian - A Night At the Opera

Fuel - Natural Selection (not a great CD, but leagues ahead of their other stuff.)

Matchbox Twenty - Mad Season

Metric - Grow Up and Blow Away

Holy shit! Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime. Not even close.

Gish is a great, great record but I much prefer the later, artistic albums of the Smashing Pumpkins like Adore and Machina--excellent underrated albums.

gish isn't artistic? i'm not following you here.

then change artistic to experimental...

but gish did have its on sound back in 1991 (in my opinion, the far superior "noisy record" over My Bloody Valentine's Loveness).

Either way, I find the later albums to have more depth and all the songs on Gish, with the exception of Daydream, flow the same. Still a fabulous record.
