Casino Royale

Can't. fucking. wait.

I've seen every Bond movie at least 3 times, so November 17th's release literally gives me a hard on (uhhh...i mean figuratively).

What does everyone think? I think Daniel Craig looks good as Bond... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

i agree with saying that he looks like a good bond. i am stoked. bond 22 is supposedly the next one out. i think thats the title so far it is. 2008, daniel will be in it again. but i am totally excited for this one, less gadgets=more regular style kills!

it was truly awork of art.

except. during one very frightening scene with a rope, a man across the isle from us had a heart attack. everyone was screaming, and yelling and we were all runing around, i ran outside the theatre and into the hall way, and just yelled out for a doctor or if anyone new cpr. i do know it, but not well enough to do any good. so i thought i wouldnt try, because i might do mor damage. so some lady came thatwas a doctor and helped him out, then the EMT showed up. it was scary, but he walked outon his on power, so thats great

one good thing is that we got free movie vouchers!!!

but relaly the movie kicked ass and i cant wait till the next one. daniel craig is amazing.

Ryan - that scene with the rope was nuts man. I was flinching the whole time!

SPOILER (Highlight to View)
Loved the whole "now i can tell everyone you were scratching my balls before you died" thing...that was awesome.

Craig. kicks. ass. Can't believe how much I liked this movie... I liked Brosnan, but any reservations I had about a blonde Bond are now gone. Sign this guy for at least 4 more movies.

Layer Cake was very enteraining. I usually hate movies that are that itentionally cool, but that one was so well written, and...cool, that I loved it. I can't wait to see Casino Royale. I might go this weekend, but since I'm stuck at school, I might have to watch it by myself, because I'm so cool.

I just saw the movie the other day and I thought it was pretty good. Daniel Craig was a good Bond. Better than Roger Moore or George Lazenby but not up there with Connery. I liked all the high stakes poker action and the parkour (sp?) sequence in the beginning.

Downloaded the movie (pretty decent quality) and really enjoyed it. It broke free of the Bond of the 90's and despite all the Ford/Sony-Ericsson product placement, managed to break free of the dependence on unrealistic technology of the last few films and reverted to old-fashioned ass kicking.

I also really like how ambiguous the period of the movie is. Aside from the computers and modern cars, you really wouldn't be able to guess exactly what year the movie takes place in. Really liked that touch.

Didn't Lazenby get fired after one film...? I didn't even think he was all that good...

Alright, I finally saw Casino Royale and it was good and definitely on par with all the other movies, and better than the last two Bond flicks. However, it didn't feel like a prequel to the Bond films. My problem with it was the fact they addressed that the Cold War was over, Judi Dench played M (despite the original M was a man...), and Bond doesn't meet Felix Leiter until Dr. No, plus all the technological advances that would have not been in the original films... I think this should have just been a start to a new series as opposed to a prequel.

There was a 911 referance, so we know that it's set after the WTC tragedy.

But yeah, the movie was excellent. I saw it last night and was quite impressed.
