Well at least he lost his job over it. Thats some punishment. But yeah the whole situation is a joke.

I say all the people from both sides of the border who are responsible for this crime (because the Maher Arar case is a crime let's face it) should be condemn to be beaten up and tortured, chained down, put for a year in isolation in a hole as big as a grave just like they did to M.Arar. That way they'll taste how good "freedom" is...
