It's an improvement from Live It Out, which I thought was pretty weak with a few exceptions. Nothing can top Old World Underground, though. Great disc from start to finish.

i was lucky enough to see metric play a show at my university for

i've seen metric like, a million times. by which i mean, four or five. always a great energetic show. emily haines was spectacular in her solo tour as well. met her afterwards and she signed my copy of 'knives don't have your back'. we had a nice conversation about elliott smith until some dorky fanboy cut in and started drooling over her.

 

fantasies is my favorite work by them so far. the most mature and well-crafted work. satellite mind is teh best!
