Little Miss Sunshine.

It's the only one I've seen.

that movie was fantastic.

agreed. though I don't know all the nominations and I'm not about to look them up!

i don't either, and i don't care. it's likely that i wouldn't like any of them anyway. i don't like anything.

I hope Abigail Breslin wins Best Supporting Actress for Little Miss Sunshine, I think I heard that she'd be the youngest ever.

I'd like to see Art Direction go the way of Pan's Labyrinth, kind of a shoe-in.

Children of Men for Cinematography, Writing (Adaptation), and Editing.

I would like to have seen Clint Mansell's work on The Fountain up for best score, but he's perpetually underappreciated.

My fingers are crossed that everyone involved with Pirates of the Caribbean goes home empty-handed, but I won't hold my breath.

Children of Men should definately win for cinematography. The camera work was brilliant, especially during the climax of the film.

Agreed--the long, continuous shot there near the end (I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen) is absolutely spectacular.
