okay, so whenever someone dies and gets as much news attention as Anna has (will) my response is a usual "ahh, that really sucks" or "that bums me out" aka Johnny Cash or John Ritter (both on the same day)

 

but when I heard she died, my first thought was "she was still alive?"

and kudos to you on that sir. I knew I could count on the bored to laugh with me instead of giving me disgusted looks over my blatant lack of sympathy in this situation. Seriously though, it's not like she was Mother fucking Theresa or anything. Anna Nicole Smith is (was) a joke. The 34th greatest Canadian of all time (according to that CBC show) Hal Anderson is a DJ on a radio station here. he was COMPLETELY torn up over this and for the life of me, I can't understand why. Sure, it's a human life, but look at her life. I think that it'd be a tradgedy if a young child died, someone that had a hope of making something of themselves. Anna Nicole had nowhere to go but up, but looking at the past 10 years of her life, that wasn't going to happen.
