The Death Of Captain America

Recommended Posts

Hey, don't go putting on Iron Man...thank you very much.

Killing off the Captain, is just plain wrong. With Superman, you knew it was something big...

What are they going to do, have a "Who is the real cap?"

Bring back Nomad, Battlestar, and US AGENT? what gives?

US Agent is in the new Canadian group "Omega Flight" along with a few other powerhouses. Apparently, Cap's death didn't last that long though as during an argument between Carol Danvers (aka Marvel Girl) and Spider Woman, it was revealed that Cap isn't dead, he survived the gun shots but he is still in critical condition. the more I think about it though, the more I'm surprised how this got media coverage. Back in 1996, the Fantastic 4, The Hulk, most of the Avengers and Doctor Doom all "died" and nobody said a thing.

also, Charles, I blame Tony Stark because it was his fault that Cap was arrested and so vulnerable in the first place.

Ah yes, a result of the whole Onslaught nonsense...dreadfully weak plotlines.

From what I've read of it... I can understand your position on Tony Stark...but he is still one of my favorites.

I am glad that Cap isn't dead. I remember when he was hanging with Falcon, D-Man, Nomad, and Diamondback...it was some good stuff, or when he threw down with the Punisher...

I don't like that they sent American heroes up to Canada for Omega Flight...Canada was doing fine with Alpha Flight. If I were Canadian, I'd take offence....actually I am offended. Vindicator and Co. could handle their business.

Along with Major Mapleleaf, Puck II, Vindicator, and Shaman, Puck was among the Alpha Flight members to be killed by The Collective in New Avengers #16. Only Sasquatch was confirmed to survive.

still, check out Omega Flight

Whoa, Omega Flight seems badass. They kicked Puck out of Alpha Flight cuz he was too lame, I guess. But replacing him with the Capt. is pretty badass.

Anything involving Beta Rey Bill is badass! and Puck is dead so you can't talk about him like that! (it's fine for Anna Nicole though)

oh, and thats not Captain America, thats U.S. Agent.
