The Radio Needs More Matthew Good.

Recommended Posts

anyone who listened to the nooner on edge 102.1 today and heard a request for alert status red, that was me. everytime i call the edge i request that song (they have a limited selection). josie loves matt good so she always plays it. but this time she actually put me on the radio. so if you heard it today, yes, i went to a cross dressing party this weekend haha.

so if you ever want matt good on the radio, call edge when josie is on air. there's only like three songs they'll play, but more often than not, she'll play one for you.

the radio needs more matt good.

I don't listen to the radio much any more though.

neither do i, but every now and then i do. there's a few stations in toronto that will play matt good, but it's usually just those two songs and on occasion apparitions. it's lame.

sounds like a pretty decent station. i love new radio stations. toronto has eliminated all but one of the stations that used to only play techno/rap which is awesome (there used to be three or four). it's all classic rock, alternative, and easy listening stations here now.

We have a new alternative station in Calgary that's pretty decent. I haven't heard MG yet, but they don't play Nickelback which is sweet.

One time I heard Incubus, Garbage and the Foo Fighters all in a row and that made me really happy.

it started as a good station, i got them to play some stone roses, but they are starting to do the standard playlist thing now ;)

so far i've heard a lot of early MGB on that station (lotga, underdogs, and BM) which is a nice change from the 2 songs that cjay always plays.

who the heck listens to the radio these days.

stuck in traffic, general driving = radio on.

i hear mgb every once in awhile on cfox 99.3, i think they do play them every day heh. but yeah i've heard mgb played on the classic rock station as well which was kind of disheartening.

when we finally get a release date we can try and gather up the telephone #s and websites for your local radio stations.

sounds good. there's a few stations around here who do play mgb stuff. i'd be glad to harass them to play more haha.

Matt did say he classified his sound as "Classic Rock of the Future", so maybe they're getting a head start on it.
