I think "emo" is such a stupid name for a genre. Emo is short for emotional, thus, any song that causes an emotional response can be called Emo.

Dallas Green is acoustic with City & Colour, Alexisonfire is mostly crap. I've always said they'd be better without that screaming retard.

I'm just not feeling this. The accoustic stuff does nothing for me. The Alexisonfire stuff is better. It sounds like better arranged Staind mixed with a little Linkin Park. Not without it's appeal, but not really that original. Thanks for the hookup Tim.

I tried to listen to a few Alexisonfire and City & Colour songs. C&C is definitely better but still nothing I particulary cared about.
