2016-2017 Demos (2016)

Album Information

On November 9th, 2016, Matthew Good posted a single demo from an upcoming album. Good was believed, and later confirmed, to be recording updated versions of songs from his 1999 hit album "Beautiful Midnight". Five tracks from the album were re-imagined in the "I Miss New Wave: Beautiful Midnight Revisited EP" (2017).

These tracks are set to be released on "Something Like a Storm" this October 20th, 2017.

Timeline

November 9th, 2016 - "Bad Guys Win" is posted on Matthew's blog after the 2016 US election.

February 2017 - "Decades" is played live during the Beautiful Midnight Revisited tour.

August 31, 2017 - "Men at the Door" is played live at the Cedar Creek Estate Winery acoustic show.

September 13, 2017 - "Something Like a Storm" is revealed as the name for the new album.
