So did anybody pick up the new Strokes album yesterday? I did and at first it was kinda disappointing but after a couple listens I am hooked on it. Its different but still classic Strokes.

 

I read some reviews on it and a lot of them were negative saying that it is a really lazy album but that is so not the case. Musically, this album is ahead of anything they have done before. My fave songs on it at the moment are Heart in a Cage, Ize of the World and Vision of Division.

 

So, it gets the thumbs up from me, but only after a couple listens...
