Apocalypto

Just got home from Apocalypto. Like all of Gibson's movies, it was long. It was also pretty good. It held my interest through the entire film (though the ending was weak.)

 

All in all, I reccomend checking it out. It's not too gory, so even if you have a weak stomach you should be relatively OK.

The only thing I really didn't dig is the little girl with the "plague." WTF kind of little girl stands around by her dead family and yells weird prophecies at total strangers who shove her around with a stick? It didn't really make sense. Also, the baby being born underwater deal was a little dumb as well, but pretty irrelevant story-wise, so I didn't care much.

I hear the Film Music-Score is pretty good...though I don't know if I can be bothered seeing it.
