When was TV really all that good in the first place?

 

Everyone whines that it sucks now, but I think it just sucks in a different way.

 

And movies, yeah, they've been getting worse. Studios just remake old ideas and there's nothing new anymore.

 

Except Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite, and Eternal Sunshine. They're good.

I would just like to point out that for all the slander The OC receives here, it sure gets discussed a lot. There's a huge thread for it in the TV section and this thread in The Silver Screen section is mostly about The OC.

 

I think there's a lot of closet OC fans out there who just don't want to admit it.

 

Me? I love it. It's my guilty pleasure and I just don't care. Hey, it's better than The Bachelor.
