He tried that last year, too. Congress restored most of the funding. This likely won't pass.

Not quite, but if Congress has its way it would be that high.

 

The EPA is a distasterous agency anyways (right there with the DEA). A little less funding would be a blessing, since its regulations and red-tape do much more damage than good.

Of course, hiring people to head departments that used to lobby in favour of corporations that pollute those departments doesn't help either.
