The Killers

Does anyone else out there have The Killers debut cd "Hot Fuss"?? There's a good chance you've heard the first single "Somebody Told Me" on the radio or the video on Much or MTV. It's got a real 80's vibe to it... lots of synthesizers and stuff.

 

I'm not gonna lie to you, this album is amazing! I bought it the same day i got WLRRR, right before I had to make the 12 hour drive from Vancouver back up to northern BC and it was a constant battle between the 2 for playing time in the cd player!! It was one of those albums where you haven't heard it, but heard good things so i decided to pick it up and it just blew me away!

 

It's not like you guys even know me, but this record gets my stamp of approval! It's a nice change from all the Nickelbackish bands that have dominated the airwaves for the last few years. If you're into downloading rather than buying, check out "Somebody Told Me", "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine", "Smile Like You Mean It" and "All These Things I've Done"... at least those are my faves.

Cool...yeah, I've definitely heard of The Killers, but i didn't think that the quality would carry on throughout the entire record.

hah ya the killers are a nice new beat to the modern tune. quite like it very much and of course kumquat it'd make u dance, u'll still dance no matter what lol!
