Most Under-rated Mg(b) Song?

Recommended Posts

Been listening to WLR&RR a lot lately - the whole album seems to go fairly unnoticed in Matt Good's catalogue (I anticipate the same will be said of "Vancouver" when all is done). Going back through the record, tracks like "Buffalo Seven" and, specifically, "Empty Road," stuff I never really paid much attention to prior, are greatly climbing my list of favorite Matt Good songs. Very under-appreciated work, IMO.

Definitely. Blue Skies Over Bad Lands was always a favorite, but listening again recently I was really impressed by the albums consistency — ignoring Alert Status Red, which is kind of charming for its datedness. The album is especially notable considering it's basically a complete acoustic 180 from Avalanche.
