Seth Macfarlane Will Be On Another Show

Another face back in uniform is that of avid Trek fan Seth MacFarlane, creator of the animated comedy Family Guy (which currently is being made into a movie). The 31-year-old MacFarlane had a brief cameo last season as an Engineer in "The Forgotten" (related story). He's still an Engineer but now he's got a Columbia patch on his uniform, and he's got a name: "Ensign Rivers." He's also got more scenes this time.

On the show, I don't know... but this could be a new character if that's the case.

He's got a new show coming out in 2005 too called "American Dad" though, and he does some of the voices...

Hmm, i am pretty sure there is no Family Guy movie. I follow it very closely. There will be a three-part miniseries, is that what was meant?

There was a movie in the works before "Family Guy" was brought back.

Yes. I remember that now. It was broken down into the 3 episodes. A lot of people still think there will be a movie, because the miniseries will be released on DVD in one chunk,. with no breaks or credits until the end of the 3 episodes. I guess that could be called a movie.

2005 will be a good year. More Family Guy AND American Dad. It'll be harder to focus on essay writing now...
