Ripping Hidden Tracks

You know how sometimes a band will have 16 minutes of silence between the last listed song and a hidden song?

 

Is there any way you can cut out the rest of a song with some program?

 

 

Take for instance Staind's Dysfunction. Spleen stops at around four minutes, then after a whole lot of silence, Excess Baggage comes on. Is there any way i can edit out everything BUT Excess Baggage, so i can have an mp3 of that song only?

audacity is a good program, its free and it does a good easy job.

Yeah, you just need a sound editing program. There're a lot of free ones out there, just google it.

like the two people said above me, with a sound editing program you can cut out the hidden track and make it its own track.

Excellent, i'll check it out. I want to cut all of that bullshit out of "Watch the Sky for Me" by Powerman 5000...
