Cherry Poppin' Daddy
EDIT: the budget in total is $2.77 trillion. The defense part is $439.3 billion. 16% of entire budget for defense. 3.5% of America's GDP, which is about where it's been for 10 years. A hell of a lot lower than during the Cold War. Moonlight_Graham
Bush asked for something like 70 billion more for Iraq funding this year. That a lot of mouths it could feed.
