Matt Good and David Usher might be interesting, but for some reason, I have a feeling they wouldn't get along or something...

there was a little clip on much music of an exchange between the two--- something about matt asking david what it was like to be "such a hunk" or something like that, and david replying with, "what's it like to be in a chick band?"

 

there were also reindeer-antler headband spars among the members of mgb.

 

or i'm remembering it wrong. that was a very, very long time ago.

It would be kind of awkward, but a worthwhile video, to see Matt Good playing guitar and singing to Buckley's corpse.

 

But if they could re-animate Jeff for a bit of recording, then count me in and a half.

 

Hm. I don't know. Damned good question. Tom Waits would be awesome to see, but not sure how that might translate across the board. I'd think maybe pretty well.

 

I don't see Matt working out too well w/Maynard... But it would be interesting to see what would happen if he and Trent were left in a studio together.

 

Holly McNarland I'd like to see come back and do more stuff w/him.

 

Radiohead would be a pretty cool blend.

 

Though nobody knows her on here (so far as I know) Carina Round would be an awesome female vocalist to hear work with Matt.

The Cure( I think he and Robert Smith could make magic)

 

David Usher (because it would be something very sweet)

 

Me (If I didn't think Rich was such a great bass player, I'd love to

play with Matt, and I'd definitely like to write with him)

 

Holly McNarland because their previous collaboration was beautiful.

 

Reuniting with MGB, because I think they had some powerful stuff left to lay down.
