So why can't we say we like all of his music? I'm torn. I like both for different reasons and can't say i like one more then the other.

You can not live in the past but i have been more then happy with Matts current work and can not wait for more.

exactly. that's one of the reasons why i like his solo stuff the best. it's unique.

I went with solo but its a tough call. Avalanche is such a good album and he has matured so well that i thinks hes better now then ever. I think that going solo ddint have that much effect on him , i can see his shifting styles throughout the albums
