this new version of dance of the manatee is all prettied up for the radio. it's still a good song, but i like the version i'm used to more.

 

marx - remember before this they were on tour with flyleaf? before that they were with dir en grey. my friend saw them open for system of a down. they're always touring with some weird band i don't think they should be touring with.

The album was interesting. I liked a couple songs. But I could not get over the singers voice.

you have listened to the mars volta and muse and you're still sticking with this? i mean, if you don't like them, that's fine, but seriously.. they don't sound like either one of those bands.

I have heard both of those bands, I don't like either of them, and I'm still sticking with that. Perhaps I'll come up with something more satisfactory in the morning.

Three cups of coffee later... ya, I'm really bad at describing why I don't like things. And comparing them to other bands isn't the way I should do it... Fair To Midland isn't horrible. I liked A Seafarer's Knot, Orphan Anthem '86, and The Walls of Jericho. But most of the songs just didn't keep me interested that much.

 

Is that better? Sorry.
