Well the reviews are in, rottentomatoes.com says this movie sucks. rated 25% "fresh", so basically 75% of reviews gave it thumbs down.

 

Can't say i'm suprised at all, the trailers looked lame. Nic Cage is lame. I might check it out when it comes out on DVD (that is to say, i'll download it free) but this looks like a superhero movie along the lines of Fantastic Four/Hulk/Daredevil/Punisher etc. than something wicked like Batman Begins or Spider-Man.

The effects were awesome...I was prepared for Hulk type shit, and It was a trillion times better. The critics are idiots, this shit was incredible. ( I made the girl sit through it twice) Cage, does an incredible job. You will all be surprised. IT ROCKS, IT ROCKS, IT ROCKS!!!!!

Ghost Rider was my favorite marvel super hero growing up. I'm glad he was given a movie, but I am sad that Nicholas Cage is playing him. That is just poor casting, even if he brings star quality to the film. He is just not right for that part. Not to mention the movie sucks from what I hear. I would have gone to see it, but I would just be too sad that they ruined Ghost Rider.

yeah, i'm sorry, without offending anyone, i really hated this movie, its just a matter of opinion, and while i say Cage did pretty good, the cgi was pretty good, even the directing had some style to it... but Mark Steven Johnson should not eb allowed near a pen and paper... or word processor... he sucks. i'm sorry, but he does.

good = adaptation and weatherman.

bad = ground 0 or whatever that movie is called, and presumingly ghostrider.

adaptation was terrible.

I have seen this 4 times now. Just like with every good Marvel movie, it takes a few viewings to really get every bit of it digested. Could Cage have been better...know, this is probably some of his best work. The story could have been better, the CGI was impressive....overall I'd give it 3 1/2 stars...it was almost perfect...I think the sequel will be better.
