Anyone check the series premiere last night?  I'm already hooked.  If you haven't already, look for it.  

 

I'm not a fan of science fiction really, but this is well done.

Wife and I watched it last night and thought it was excellent. Raised enough questions that I'm eagerly anticipating the next episode.

I really liked the twist with Ed Harris, definitely thought he was going to be the Yule Brimmer bot

I think i got three episodes into this and stopped.  I do hear that it really picks up in the back end of the season though.

i watched the whole series on a long international flight, and while it lagged in a few spots, I really enjoyed it.... found it a little bit over the top gratuitous in terms of nudity and violence, but the story was good... and really, it felt like a cinematic version of a MMORPG, which was kind of cool

I was kind of annoyed at some of the "this was my plan all along!!111!!" story telling but I'm looking forward to another season.

without giving anything away, I agree that the last "twist" seemed tacked on.... similar to the surprise twist at the end of Dollhouse (for the Whedon fans out there)

It wasn't a great way to end it, but I really liked the show overall.  Bit of a wait for the new season though.

Just finished watching this on Sunday (where have I been???) and it might be the best Sci-fi I have seen in over a decade.  Riveting, thought-provoking, visually arresting...I can't say enough good things!

I'm not a big sci-fi fan, but the visual style alone was enough for me.
