I saw it a couple of days ago and was quite impressed. I've allways been a fan of PSH (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) and never miss any of his movies (check out Punch Drunk Love). Winnipeg was the backdrop for this movie, it was nice to see my hometown featured.

I loved this movie. I read the book a few years ago and loved it as well so I was excited to see that they had made this movie--doubley so when I saw that Hoffman and Cathy Keener were in it. It showed beautifully how Capote suffered so greatly to produce his masterpiece.

If you haven't read In Cold Blood yet, I highly recommend it.

Phillip Seymour Hoffmin was amazing in Capote. Easily one of the most intense, well casted, well acted films I have seen.

The cast used to come into the Chapters I was working at when I lived in Winnipeg and they were filming. They were all really cool people, despite the fact that none of them were pleased with the weather.

But yes, Capote=stunning.

This one was incredible. I believed for the entire film that PSH was Capote, he definitely deserved the Oscar, that's for sure. And yes the book is very good. Unfortunately I've never read anything else of his. I really should.
