It seems kind of suspicious to be concerned over which subculture your usic fits in to...

 

No, i don't give a shit, it's just their first albums were straight up punk, and then the got very dark, slower, and used techno stuff and got a lot more melodic.

 

It just made for an awkward transition period, that's all.

This is what I had to put up with over DriftingInfluence--a complete baby who would never admit that he could be possibly wrong.

 

Just one thing. Because you play instruments & have musical knowledge on notes/chords/movements/time signatures/whatever... over others DOESN'T MEAN that you have a greater amount of musical knowledge over someone else. I read that somewhere on the 3rd page and I found it amusing. Besides, I would RATHER listen to my favourite records than struggling to duplicate what has already been done. What does that even prove anyway?

I never once stated i have a better/greater knowledge of music than everyone else, thats lie #1. I said that you might interpret music differently if you played an instrument and had a knowledge of what that entails, and this is true, as a singer i tend to listen to much different music than i did before i started singing, any guitar player will tell you the same thing, tastes vary when you start playing an instrument. I'm not acting like i'm any better than anyone else, why would I, I'm no John Lennon and i i never said I was.I have not tried to pick fights, lie #2 i've got better things to do, like write music, People are bashing me, saying i said this and that, why don't you quote me when i say these things and prove it? You guys remind of the US State Department. Why is that so hard, to quote me? Again both of you resort to name calling. I'm the baby? i was called a retard, or sorry i was acting "like a retard" (means the same thing to me). My contributions only end up as arguments? lie #3, i've been in two arguments, one was reacting to being called a retard, the other was someone acting like HE knew everything about music.
