they've probably hired a bunch of mexicans/italians/blacks to play middle-eastern terrorists and nobody can tell. Also, they're always really white-looking. you never see the guy with the hardcore muslim beard, granted they're supposed to be in disguise, but still! As long as they're mulatto and look evil, it's all good

Actually, I heard on 22 once he was of Pakistani descent... So, perhaps it's best not to try to figure out who's from where since Hollywood will use any one of any kind have descent for any part. Take Bourne Supremacy for example, the FSB agent Bourne was against was not Russian at all, but actually a New Zealander who was merely playing a Russian.
