You know that if Champan killed some "unknown" person and not John Lennon...he would have been out by now.

I agree with that. Probably some deranged Beatles fan posing as a Beatles hater would ask him for an autograph then shoot him as soon as he signed it.

its a double standard...anyone less important and he would have been free years ago...but since it was john lenin he had to wait so long for parole...and even then his life is gonna be filled with hate mail threats and maybe even murder

He killed a genious. Hes safer in jail, because there are tons of people who want to "return the favor" that have hs name on the top of as "people to kill" list/

whatever. he shouldn't have done it in the first place, he's served more then his time in jail, and its probably safer in jail. i'd let him choose if he wants out haha.
