What's up with the Killers? I hear they have a new album coming out in September. Anyone got any dirt on it?

"As of June first, the band is currently in London, England finishing their sophomore record to be released in late 2006. The album was recorded at The Studio in the Palms in Las Vegas. Flood and Alan Moulder are producing the yet-to-be-named album."

They make catchy music. I suppose they're alright but nothing that will be remembered in a year or two from now.

flood and alan moulder though.. that makes me want to cry sortof... maybe their presence will make the killers better? i doubt it, but seeing as how they're probably going to be all over the radio again, id rather enjoy it than not.

The vocals are different from the previous album, but I'm a pretty big fan of this new song.

I agree that the Killers are awesome despite the fact that the radio loves them. I highly recommend the Hot Fuss SpEd. as it has Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll, which is by far their best song. Also look up the David Gray Smile Like You Mean It cover if you're down with the Killers.

The Killer's lyrics are uber-lame. It's catchy...For about 3 times of listening...Then it gets boring.
