I'm seeing these guys in June and in classic omgfanboi fashion, I am overly excited about it. The visuals and light show accompanying the music are consistently impressive, and make for a really awesome and emotional vibe throughout the performance. It almost makes up for the lack of variance in their setlists. ;)

i disagree with you. tomahawk was mostly just annoying. meshuggah was alright, not my thing, though. never saw the other ones. love isis, though, but they're more suited to smaller venues.

I don't understand how the performance is really that unimpressive if you've ever seen them before. It's not tremendously different from the lateralus tour, and in my opinion a bit more interesting.

 

I haven't heard anything from Melt-Banana but I'm expecting them to suck hard or make me laugh. Last falls tour with Isis was <3 <3.

 

I wish Patton was with them this tour :-]

I shouldn't judge I guess. I'm assuming Melt-Banana is bad live but if they're good I have to give them credit for pulling off their sound outside of a studio.
