If I had the desire to try out for canadian Idol, I'd definitely sing a Matt Good song. Maybe Symbolistic White Walls, or Tripoli, or Weapon (if I bring my guitar with me).

I dont watch canadian idol but I would love to see someone try and sing a song. Even better would be an entire show dedicated to matthew good. Having the top 10 try and sing all his songs and seeing just great matt really is. Most would surly butcher the vocals ;)

Back in the day, 2002, there was a fan movement to go on the show that came before this, which was called Popstars I think, and sing Anti-pop. I think one or two people tried but it really didn't make it beyond the message boards. It sickens me that shows like that have only gotten more popular.

Nope...I was waiting for it as MG is listed as his favourite artist, but he never did. I haven't watched too many Idol seasons, but I have never seen any MG sung.

 

And P.S. Hedley kicks ass (mostly old hedley, the new Hedley is too commercialized, but still better than most of the crap out there).
