Would Anyone Like To Buy A Book?

Recommended Posts

Over the last ten months I've been writting a novel, and finially finished it. I've self-published it through Cafepress.com.

It's something I'm really proud of, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a copy.

Thanks for anyone who does. I'd love to know what you thought of it too if you do choose to pick one up!

Take Care!

PS. I'm not sure if this is the right section or not. If not, I apologize!

Synopsis:

Plastic is a town going no where fast. Full of drug filled teenagers and clueless adults; the town creates quite the unpleasant place to be for Matt to be. He and his friend Gord routinely take the weekends to play Pool and complain about the town and how they dream of finding some place better. But everything gets turned upside when Sara Priske comes to town. Opening herself up to him immediately, both makes Matt scared, and curious to learn more. It doesn't take long for Sara's self destructive behavior to really show Matt that even love can not save someone from themselves.

Names are very important, because names have to be believable. You can't have a main character named Ali Baba and have his character be a suburban white kid.

Ali Baba was going to be my second pick...

A girl (yes a girl) who is a co-worker of mine is named Ali Baba. She's a white suburban girl. Yes, I'm very serious.

On the subject of the book, I think it could prove very interesting. Looks good ;)

i won't give you any more trouble. i'm sure it takes a lot of time, energy, creativity and ambition to make a book and i don't think i could do it. so congrats on that.

I once tried to write one of them shitty internet book-type things where you steal the characters from someone else.

It blew. Loads.

I suppose if I put my mind to it, I could pen some sort of book. But it'd take so much time and effort, it wouldn't be funny.

when i was in 6th grade i wrote a story that was over 100 pages, by hand. i don't remember what it was about other than 6th grade stuff and the coolness levels of the characters were based solely on how long they made out with each other.

i fucking RULE, i tell you.
