the departed. it blew chunks. i didn't believe for a minute that the top dog that jack nicholson played would go to pick up a ton of coke or heroin (whatever it was) with the rest of his underlings. the scene where he ends up getting offed. ruined an okay movie for me. and it was just okay up to that point.

Flags of Our Fathers, while not the best movie, pretty good, namely because Eastwood also made a second movie from the point-of-view of the Japanese side, which is a great conception to show the POV's of both sides of a war.
