Sin City

Recommended Posts

Yes it's rated r, and at my famous players - silver city they were ID'ing those who looked younger. I caught Sin City on Friday afternoon and it rocked. I loved that 2 minute scene when Quentin Tarrintino takes over as special guest director in that "back alley" scene with Del Toro in the car with his 3 buddies. The sword play, and that nazi swastika (sp?) throwing star was fucking off the hook.

I also liked that scene with the arrows through Nicky Katt's character (bald guy). Pretty funny stuff.

Elijah Wood's character was fucking crazy, he gets mad props for his scenes.

I might have to see this a second time.

I just got back from seeing it.

First off, I had to sneak in since i'm not 18, so I missed the beginning. Anyhoo, it moved at a very interesting pace and was just done so uniquely. During the middle of the movie I had to ask myself, "Is this movie really horrible, or really awesome?" It was just so different and strange. The characters were just so weird. The entire movie was really 3 all put together, which is what made it so strange, because certain characters worked into all 3. By the end, it came clear that the movie was incredibly awesome. I definitely recommend seeing it if you're interesting in seeing something new and exciting.

The last time I got kicked out of a movie was when I wanted to watch Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. I was like 13, and my friend was like 12. You had to be 14, and I was going to say I was, and back then, if you were old enough, you could take your friends in. But his stupid mom was there when we bought the tickets, and she overheard that you had to be 14, and she's all like 'Sorry boys, not yet.' We bought tickets for Cop and a Half instead. Then I tried to sneak into Dragon, but got caught, and was all like 'Huh?'. I feel old.

I was gonna go see Sin City, but i couldnt get in because im 17. And i couldnt sneak in because they had staff checking ID at at least three different stages of entry, including the actual doors of the theatre. I was angry. I passed for 18 at the ticket counter, but they wouldnt let me into the movie.

I wonder if they're checking for ID here. It's rated 16+ in Quebec, and I happen to be 15. I guess I can just go and not shave for a while before going.

haha, a bunch of kids at school were talking about going and not shaving a few days before hand to. Maybe I"ll give it a shot
