great song, but the video totally didnt suite it. The video was all about Matt's stalker problem (from the song Life beyond the minimum safe distance). Apparitions and Alert Status Red are still my favourite videos. I would have liked to see one for Near Fantastica too when he released it, I think he injured himself when they were about to shoot one though, not sure.

it was a leg injury sustained at a live show. what shitty timing, i'm so curious as to what direction the video would've taken.

Yea thats what I heard too, I but I can't remember where anymore. Maybe on his site when he actually had news updates? Ever since "It's been awhile since I was your man" bombing on Much and Muchmore, I wonder if matt's still into making music videos. He seems a little angered that it got such bad reviews as a release.

Why do the lyrics posted say "Nice to meet you" in the chorus? And also the "One night only" part in the bridge?

Those are just some extra stuff that got thrown into the lyrics booklet for Beautiful Midnight. There's a bunch of them like that.
