It's supposed to come out early next year. Definitely something to look forward too. As lead singer Isaac Brock describes it, it'll be "nautical balalaika carnival romp." For those who don't know, a balalaika is a Russian folk instrument; here's a pic:

Wow, epic size. Johnny Marr (of the Smiths) has also joined the band as a full time member, and even got songwriting credit on a few tracks. I'm interested to see how it comes out.

every time i hear the word "balalaika" i think of the movie "Doctor Zhivago" it was the worst 3 hours i spent in a class room watching it in high school. i would have rather took a test then watched that 3 hour peice of crap again.

I'm really excited. i love the title, and the band has only been getting better with every album, in my opinion.

Yeah, Dashboard is decent. I'm not sure if I like this Float On, poppy direction they're headed. But I still have high hopes for this album.

usually people who work in record stores or the record industry. sometimes they're stolen off of trucks too.
