Harry Potter!!!!

It got off to a rocky start (but I've found that all the movies of the series have a tough time getting started) but I really liked it. The girl who played Luna was awesome, and I still HATE the new Dumbledore.

But I thought it was well directed, and I really want to see the deleted scenes.

I just watched Miami Vice again...not bad, the sequel should be much better.

Transformers. Two hour car commercial. Corny, but it had to be. Incredible CGI. Exactly as I hoped and expected. Nobody would buy a serious Transformers anyway.

Idlewild - Outkast in a movie...wasn't expecting it to be good...

 

Seriously impressed. It was a very well thought out, well written, dynamic story. Amazing visuals.

Transformers

 

It was entertaining while it lasted, but definitely not great. Towards the end I had to go to the bathroom, and came back to the movie without feeling like I've missed anything. The ending was sorta predictable and cliched as well. Not that I expected something moving or amazing, mainly I just needed to go someplace air-conditioned for a couple of hours on a 102F (39C) degree day. So I guess, all in all, I was satisfied.
