Firebird...

And here's the weirdest part about that story, the guy was so upset that she ripped him off for his money she was actually wedged under the front - I told you about that - under the front of a firebird and he's trying to get the ten dollars of rock back out of her hat while she's wedged under the car. I think that - I shit you not she was actually wedged under the front - I told you about that - yeah under the front of the firebird - she was actually wedged under the front - I told you about that...

i'm quite sure this could beat out avalanche....

 

champions of nothing is one amazing song. i love what he did with the boy come home. the entire album is amazing. the weakest songs are the covers, imho...

I'd love to see this album performed full band, without a doubt, but I'm also really excited to see the songs performed how they were written, which, as far as I understand, was basically all acoustically.

 

I'd be happy to hear Odette in any way possible.

i guess matt's new thing is to sample voices. way to overuse a concept.

He's done bits of that on most of his albums though, along with doing things like setting up microphones to capture random noises. Personally, especially in the context of this album and what we know he went through before writing it, I think it fits and adds lots to songs.
