In the case of a fight, punch for the jaw and then keep going for whatever comes up.

 

However. Last time I punched someone was a guy who had his hand around my neck, in which case I punched him in the windpipe. Cheap shot, but it's quick for survival.

You're missing two options: The temple, which well probably put them out cold (or kill them... yeah, maybe don't try that one). And the xiphoid process, which will knock the wind out of them: much more reliable than the stomach which can be protected by flexing the abs.
